When I received the fabrics, I knew I needed to honor this beautiful palette and I wanted to use all 6 colors. So it took me 164 trials on EQ8 to find the balance of colors and shapes I wanted. A little bit of curves, some strip piecing ( that is one of my favorite things to do) and some blocks that would showcase the beauty of these fabrics. As personal challenge I decided to piece the binding as well, with 1” strips that finish at 1/2”. And yes, is double folded. Because go big or go home.
