Created for my sister's wedding in 2022 to be both a backdrop for the ceremony and a gift for their new home, 9.24.2022 is a celebration of their relationship so far and an encouragement as they move forward together. The work includes the Water Color Eclipse Quilt by Audrey Esarey (@cottonandbourbon) and the mountain range was improvised to replicate the landscape of Denver, Colorado. The pantograph selected is designed by Julie Hirt (@juliehirt) and was selected to give movement and verticality to the landscape.
