This quilt is a part of a series called Interaction which the idea is to work with big shapes that overlap and then to imagine what could happen at the intersections. In addition, for this third piece, I introduced a ‘confetti’ effect by hand stitching rectangles, which colour vary depending on the background. I added a secondary pattern to the piecing design using a green quilting thread to create a ‘spotlight’ shape from bottom left corner to the top of the quilt. I also varied thread colours and quilting motifs for creating extra shapes.
