Awhile back, I began to make collections of leftover blocks, discarded sections of quilts, and then I added fabric scraps to use with these. This quilt was being constructed during a difficult time and could be reflective of a bit of inward upheaval. I put it away with no idea whether I liked it or not. It was retrieved recently and the circles were added, giving it the resolution I needed to complete it. I like it now much, much better.
