Yellow! Happy, bright, and refreshing, just like a small glass of limoncello! The creation of this piece was all about subtle shifts, small changes in value, hue, and texture. The background fabric hand dyed texture is uninterrupted by unnecessary seams; sixteen circles were inset within one large hand dyed piece of fabric. The yellow fabric gradation, the quilting threads, and the background fabric, all chosen to because of their almost indistinguishable shifts from one to the next in hue.
