This quilt was inspired while attending a Madeline Island School of the Arts class taught by three talented and award-winning teachers: Maria Shell, Cindy Grisdela and Sarah Bond. This piece is titled "Liminal Space" which refers to a space or time of transition. Being with these teachers and other talented students provided the space and time to experiment with a limited color palette, create small elements, and use different shapes, lines, curves and colors to tell a story.
