Spin" is based on the traditional pinwheel block. I love a clean palette of "primary" colors, red, citrus yellow and cobalt. I tried every orientation of the giant blocks and this was my favorite. The secondary pattern in the center was interesting and the relationship between the figures really helped to give movement to this quilt. I experimented with irregular close straight line quilting, which gave the surface a veiled quality,
