My friend, Chris, drove to Tulsa partly so we could visit, work on new quilt starts, and of course talk and eat. I started with a few blocks for this but felt uninspired. Frankly, I wasn't liking what I had on the design wall. I knew that I needed to press past this phase to see "what it wanted to be". Once I included more units, it took on a life of its own.
