I had been collecting a variety of black, white and gold print fabrics. I decided that they were perfect for an improve quilt. I worked on this off and on for a year. I would make "chunks" and put them on the design wall and then work on something else while deciding what waw needed next. For the quilting, I divided the quilt into several segments and used straight line quilting in each section. I changed the direction of the lines for each section.
