My grandma taught me how to take my original art work, make it smaller on the color printer, and print it out on fabric. I found some of her scrap fabric left over from one of her projects. Then I placed on a background fabric that I also chose. Then I used an iron to fuse it to the background. I quilted it by following chalk lines we made with a big yardstick. Grandma used one hand to help guide me. But I used the foot pedal! Then Grandma sewed on the binding.
