Most of our family vacations are to Hilton Head beach and I wanted my quilt to be a beach theme. The spiral in the star looks like a wave, and it reminds me of the ocean. I quilted it with swirls for a subtle background. My favorite part of making this quilt was quilting it on a long arm.
