Do you ever just have an idea in your head and just need to get it on paper. This quilt was just that. I made a quick doodle, then designed an image on the computer and then created a foundation paper piecing pattern from it. After several hours of hyper-focusing on this design, I began to pick fabrics. I have always loved bright bold colors on black. It just is my inner soul and I love it. I designed, printed and sewed this quilt up. I then did straight line quilting on my domestic machine. I purposely did not quilt with in the shapes to allow for the max amount of vibrancy to pop. Foundation paper pieced and quilted on a domestic machine.
