Teresa Fiehn Millies is an artist from Aurora, Il. She uses traditional block designs and improvisational techniques to invoke familiarity and dissonance in the viewer. Teresa uses traditional tools and methods to create meta modern quilts driven by her inner worlds and personal experiences. She believes that the creative process is meant to connect us to our basic human needs of connection and beauty. She achieves this with an open and playful style. This mini was created a thrifted Foundation Paper Piecing book on mini piecing called 202 Little Log Cabin Blocks. The colors are imperfectly pieced and its unexpectedly small which makes it pleasing, like a bite size.
