I remember my art teachers always saying to turn your mistakes into opportunities for creativity. When sketching this block, I intended to make it symmetrical. It was only after putting it into repeat on my computer that I noticed my mistake. I decided to embrace the "error" that gave this quilt such a fabulous design. My daughter said it looked like there was a glitch, which is how it got its name. Shortly after naming it, Taylor Swift released a song by the same name. I think it was so nice of her to do that for me, ha, ha, ha! Playing with color further enhanced the design, creating a strong asymmetrical V shape design, playing off the shape of the block itself. I quilted with 1/4" lines.
