I made this quilt in a workshop on Madeline Island a few months after my mother passed away. Her inspiration for life was to find joy each day and she was intentional in this practice. She taught me how to craft at an early age and I owe my creative life to her. She and I found joy in making things and this quilt is dedicated to her.
