For this quilt design, I challenged myself to design a block-based quilt that doesn’t look like a block-based quilt. The design is made up of 16 identical blocks, which are differentiated by colour placement and orientation in the layout. This fun interplay of shapes creates a unique design that provides movement and a sense of transparency as the shapes “overlap”.
