When I looked at this year's fabric for the challenge, I immediately zeroed in on all the cool colors and how they play off each other, almost in a gradient (but not quite). I wanted to play with these tones and the idea of them blending together. The basic idea is what would happen is the right and left columns were superimposed as transparencies to create the center column.
