We’ve all seen the stunning longarmed quilts with complex quilting motifs and quilting arrangements, but how exactly do you move all around the quilt to add all those layers and nuance? Join HollyAnne Knight of String & Story to learn how to build a custom quilting plan layer by layer and quilt an example during class. Skills taught will include building and drawing a custom quilting plan, longarming a custom quilting plan in layers, and burying threads. Participants should be comfortable quilting 5-10 quilting motifs on the longarm for best results. Longarm machines generously provided by HandiQuilter. Each student works on their own machine in these workshops, no sharing here!
