How old were you when you started quilting? Whether you just started last year, or have been part of this community for decades, there’s always the opportunity to share this passion with others. In her lecture Hilary will discuss ways in which we can cultivate an interest in quilting and sewing with younger generations. Highlights include how she introduced her children to the world of quilting, ways in which quilters and guilds can support youth quilters, why it is important to make it more acceptable to see kids in the quilting space, and how we can inspire without influencing.
