Ideas are everywhere... and every good piece of work starts with a curious spark, an inkling…a beginning. But how do we move from that spark to a tangible piece of work? Maybe you struggle with generating ideas, or you have trouble taking great ideas to the next step. In this lecture, explore clear techniques she uses daily in her art practice to generate thoughts, cultivate & deepen ideas, and expand them into fully realized projects. We will take a step-by-step approach to this sometimes overlooked part of the creative process to investigate the beginning phase of creation before the actual physical making begins. So come along, bring your sketchbook, your curiosities, and all your questions as we explore ways to make more engaging, thoughtful, creative projects.
