Required Supplies: - iPad - iPad Charger - Procreate Application Installed on the iPad - Apple Pencil - Sketchbook or a few blank pages - Drawing supplies (for example, colored pencils or markers)
Optional Supplies: - Notebook - Writing supplies
Prep Requirements: - Install Procreate on your iPad. - Draw 3 to 5 simple designs in your sketchbook or blank pages. Please use only one color for each design. Do not overlap the designs on the page.

In this class, students will learn how to use the iPad application Procreate to design repeating pattern blocks and send finished files to print-on-demand sites like Spoonflower. Students of all levels are welcome. In the first section of the class, students will review Procreate's essential functions and create design elements. Next, students will rearrange those designs into continuous, full-drop, and half-drop repeating pattern blocks. Finally, students will learn how to export their patterns and upload them to Spoonflower. Students must bring their own iPad, Apple Pencil, and power supply. The Procreate app must be installed and activated prior to class.
