It's time to stop admiring all those gorgeous foundation paper pieced quilts and start creating your own! In this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of designing an FPP pattern - from the very basic tools needed to draft patterns from images all the way to creating templates that are ready to be pieced. This is a no-sew, all design workshop. Students will learn how to choose images to turn into FPP, the basic rules of drawing and placing pattern lines, and how to put a template together to make a finished design. Each student will leave the workshop with a ready-to-sew template and the skills to design their own FPP patterns. Students should have previous experience with foundation paper piecing.
