Required Supplies: - Classic Curves Ruler OR Classic Curves Plus Ruler: IMPORTANT: If you do not already own this ruler, make sure you purchase the 2023 updated version! See the link for details.
- 5-7 pieces of fabric, fat quarter size or larger. DO NOT choose beloved, hard-to-replace fabric for your first circles!
- Straight Pins
- Fabric pencil/pen that will mark your chosen fabric
Optional Supplies: - Additional fabric, fat quarter size or larger, that can be used for fussy cutting a central circle
- Neutral thread will be provided but you are welcome to bring coordinating thread for your project
Take your curved seams to the extreme by going full circle! Piecing full circles opens many piecing and fussy cutting opportunities in quilt design. During this workshop, students will use the Classic Curves Ruler to cut and machine-piece complete circles. Students will then create a top for a pillow or mini quilt top that incorporates at least one full circle. Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
