Required Supplies:
- Sharp medium sized scissors - shared scissors will be provide but you may wish to bring your own to maximize class time

-Straight pins

-Small ruler (1” x 6”)

-Marking pen/pencil

-50wt thread or your preferred piecing thread - neutral thread will be provided in machines but you are welcome to bring your thread of choice

-Quilt sandwiches and WOF fabric strips (see advance cutting/prep)

Optional Supplies:
-Wonder clips

Prep Requirements:
QUILT SANDWICHES
-Make a quilt sandwich using two fat quarters and a layer of batting. Quilt it densely and square it up.
-Cut the quilt sandwich into three pieces as below. (Sizes are approximate and are not required to be exact).
-Cut in half to make (2) 11” x 18” pieces.
-Cut one of those pieces in half to make (2) 11” x 9” pieces.
WIDTH OF FABRIC (WOF) STRIPS OF FABRIC
(A)
-Two 2 1/4"" WOF strips of fabric pressed in half lengthwise wrong sides together.
(B)
-Two 1 1/4"" x WOF strips of fabric
-Two 1 1/2"" x WOF strips of fabric (different color than 1 1/4' strips).
(C)
-One 2"" x WOF strip of fabric
-One 1"" x WOF strip of fabric (different colour than 1"" strip)
