Prep Requirements: Optional only - if you have already decided on a traditional block, feel free to bring in a few finished blocks to deconstruct and play with during class. This is optional only so no pressure if you haven’t decided on a traditional block or motif between now and the day of class.
Traditional blocks and motifs can be the basis for dynamic improv piecing. In this class, we will use a traditional block or motif of your choosing as a starting point for your own design, breaking down the block and exploring the possibilities with it. We will start with a short discussion, sew our hearts out, and end with a short class critique. Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
