Required Supplies:
- Milliners needles, size 9 (or your preferred size)

- Sewing thread (Jodi uses Aurifil 50wt)

- Small craft glue stick

- Fabric (4 fat quarters should be plenty)

- Sewing scissors and small snips - shared scissors will be provide but you may wish to bring your own to maximize class time

Optional Supplies:
- EPP Kit (there will be paper samples proved in class, but you can bring your own kit or quilt in progress if desired)

- Clover Clips

Shared supplies will be provided but you may wish to have your own of the below supplies to maximize class time:
--Small personal cutting mat
--Ruler
--Rotary cutter

In this workshop, students will discover the amazing ways the hexagon-related shapes tile together. Get inspired by thousands of years of hexagon patterns and create unique English Paper Pieced quilt blocks. Learn the different shapes in the Hexie Shape Family, and how they might tile together, and then students will spend some time laying and designing. This class is perfect for quilters who love to design with their hands rather than on computer, or for quilters who have sewn with hexagons and are ready to spread out into something new. No pressure to come up with something original, this class is fun and relaxing, with the freedom to explore or to be inspired by and use a design shown in class.
