Required Supplies:
- $10 materials fee for workshop materials kit (cash preferred, extra kits will be available).

- Printed copy of Improv Pouch pattern (PDF provided to student via email before QuiltCon)

- Printed copy of Zip Tips Zine (PDF provided to student via email before QuiltCon) - you”ll learn how to fold this in class!

- 2 coordinating FQ’s
- Scissors - shared scissors will be provide but you may wish to bring your own to maximize class time

- Stiletto or Purple Thang

- Seam ripper

- Clover clips

- Pins

- Pen

****You do not need to bring zippers or interfacing, these will be provided in your materials kit.

Optional Supplies: Shared supplies will be provided but you may wish to have your own of the below supplies to maximize class time:
- Small personal cutting mat
- Ruler
- Rotary cutter

Prep Requirements:
Prep work (please complete this before the workshop begins).
Cut fabric:
(1) pouch front 8” x 11” - this can be one fabric, or patchwork.
(1) pouch back 8” x 11”
(2) pouch lining 8” x 11”
(1) wrist loop 2 1/2” x 12”
(1) zipper end 1 1/2” x 5”

If you wish to use patchwork for the pouch front, please do this before class starts, and trim it to 8” x 11”.

You may prepare the wrist loop: fold/press and stitch the wrist loop (pattern step 3). Note that the wrist loop is optional and you may choose to not add a loop to your pouch.

You may also fold and press the zipper end fabric (pattern step 4).

If you are looking at the pattern, you may do step 1, 3, and 4 before class.. Do not progress past step four.
