Required Supplies:
- 35” x 35” piece of fabric (it will be your background)

- Hue A : Four different values, 1FQ per value

- Hue B : Four different values, 1FQ per value

- Small scissors with a sharp point

- Pins

- Fabric marker (erasable with water or chalk marker)

- Rotary cutter (IMPORTANT=> with a new blade)

- Small Quilting ruler (6” square or rectangular)


Optional Supplies: Cutting mat to work at your own pace - shared mats will be available but you may want your own personal mat.

In this workshop, students will design and piece a 30” x 30” quilt top, learning different techniques for incorporating curves and concentric circles. Explore different compositions, color combinations, and shapes, and learn Carolina’s tricks for creating these captivating designs. Discover how to cut fabrics with complex shapes and how to sew these curved shapes by machine, all without freezer paper! Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
