Of all the piecing techniques that strike fear into the hearts of quilters, Y-seams are the most misunderstood. Learn to LOVE this versatile technique by making an Intersectional mini quilt. Students will learn 3 ways to landmark where to stop their needle, how to set up your sewing machine to make Y-seams easier, and how to spin your seam allowances to reduce bulk. By the end of class, they will have at least 1 row of blocks assembled and have all the skills needed to finish the quilt top! Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
