Prep Requirements: - Print and tape together the required templates - Have your fabrics chosen and numbered (online coloring pages: geekybobbin.com/coloring) - Starch and press all of your fabrics – we will learn proper cutting technique in class!
Learn the basics of curved piecing while making this bold, modern quilt in your choice of project size, from Mini to King. Bobbie will show students how to fine tune their seam allowances, set up their machines for curved piecing, and different options for basting their curves! Workshop will also include a discussion on fabric preparation to avoid distortion on the bias, Bobbie’s favorite tools, and supplies to set students up for success. By the end of class, students will have a good start on assembling, and have all the skills needed to finish the quilt top! Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
