Group sewing projects are a fun way to encourage involvement and strengthen community in your guild. There are so many options to choose from! You've probably heard of Round Robins and Quilting Bees — we’ll talk about those, introduce you to other options, and talk about how to create your own. Come ready to share your own group sewing experiences, highlights, and questions with the group. Whether it’s your guild’s first Community Outreach quilt or you are looking for something fresh and new — you will leave this workshop energized, empowered, and equipped with the tools to lead your guild on its next group sewing adventure!
This session will be interactive, with the opportunity to meet and collaborate with guild leaders from across the country.
Session Leaders: Elizabeth Ray (NW Arkansas MQG) and Sarah Ruiz (Houston MQG)
