Teresa Duryea Wong is an author, lecturer, and historian. She is the author of six nonfiction books on quilts and textiles. Her newest book is “Sewing & Survival: Native American Quilts from 1880 – 2022.” Teresa is a member of the International Advisory Board of the International Quilt Museum, and in 2021 was named the Scholar in Residence for Visions Museum of Textile Art in San Diego. She also serves as a Board member for the Quilt Alliance. Teresa is a contributing writer for several publications including Quiltfolk, Curated Quilts, Quilt Diary Japan, and others. She is also a quiltmaker and antique quilt collector. Teresa lives in Houston with her husband and her dog Tom, who is one of many pups featured in Quiltfolk Dogs, which Teresa wrote and curated.
