Karen started quilting in 2014 and hasn’t looked back. Until 2021, she worked professionally as a civil engineer, then started teaching and lecturing about quilting. Karen finds inspiration in patterns, shapes, colors, and feelings in her environment. She enjoys observing different patterns around her and thinking about ways to integrate them into a new design. Experimentation is her favorite part of quilting, and she loves finding or developing efficient methods. With experimentation at the forefront, she continues to explore her personal style by pushing her design skills with each project.
