Debra made her first quilt in 1992 but became obsessed with quilting in 2012, challenging herself to stop making quilts with patterns. She enjoys using most every piece of fabric and considers herself frugal; using the smallest pieces has influenced the way she designs and works. She made her first Leftovers quilt in 2016 and has made 13 of various sizes, it can be addicting.
