The Aura series is focused on minimalist pieced rings of hand dyed color with an overlay of dense quilting lines. In Aura No. 5, the chartreuse fabrics glow in the center of the dark blue and green outer rings. All fabric hues in the lower half of the quilt are shifted by dense neon yellow quilting thread. Concentric circles of neon thread accent quilting echo the chartreuse center.
