My inspiration for this quilt centered around the featured color, Kona Cosmos. I wanted to explore cosmos in terms of 'space' in addition to the flower for which the color is named. "Cosmic Blossom" is an attempt to harmonize the astronomical and the delicate intricacies of the flower, to create a narrative that celebrates the interconnectedness of life alongside the emptiness of space.
