Entering a Medina in Morocco can be an overwhelming sensory experience, much like improv. However, once you start to appreciate unintentional relationships, the environment and rhythm of surroundings surprisingly create harmony. This dramatic piece is my first Dancing With The Wall creation guided by instructor Irene Rodrick. I chose to use shot cottons for the distinct organic textures and finished by quilting with a Sashiko machine adding further energy. This sentimental piece will remain in my collection as a pictorial memory of time spent in Morocco.
