Further explorations of my Freehand Foundation Piecing technique to see how many different patterns I can incorporate in a ring, with each block a different colour. I am interested in experimenting with negative and positive elements, so each block uses black and white for the intricate piecing and applique sections with just one colour (though many different shades) for the background. Machine quilted on my Moxie longarm with a random plaid grid.
