I have been working in a series called Color Grids for almost a decade. These quilts all play with a variation on four traditional quilt block elements—the House Top block (also called a Quarter Log Cabin), the Cross Block, the Square in a Square Block and sashing. By manipulating scale, piece work, repetition, and arrangement, I have created dozens of quilts each one being special while also being related. Liminal Lines is my most recent from this series.
