This ocean view is represented by my original painting of Oak Island, North Carolina. The coast continues to be a building frenzy fragmenting the ocean views. We are challenged to consider how our own perspectives-often limited and obstructed as the windows-shape our interactions with the natural world. An opposing unobstructed view is on the reverse side of this quilt- also an original painting with a view that is a harmonious whole.
