This quilt was made using the Pantone(2023) color of the year as inspiration. I came up with the block construction using the the traditional drunkards path, but adding my own twist with an inserted strip of fabric in the middle, traditionally pieced, not using paper. I love how the colors are so bright and saturated and how this blocks allows to many different constructions. In this quilt, you can see some circles, some X’s and also squares.
