I wanted to create a 2 color quilt with great contrast and thought the blue and green worked well together. While working on the piece I had several conversations with others about what they saw when they looked at the quilt. I was surprised by how different the answers were. No two people saw the same thing. One person thought guitar, another saw punctuation marks and yet another saw people. That conversation led to the title of the quilt. I enjoy creating appliqué quilts. The echo quilting showcases the simple shapes and allows them to stand out. There is a sense of movement that the quilting gives to the quilt.
