A long overdue finish from the first round of the Canadian Modern Improv Bee. I'd been inspired by some of the new and modern buildings in Calgary, and asked my guild mates to send me blocks which incorporated bright colour with building composition. Calgary is a young city, growing rapidly, and many of the larger buildings were designed using a brutalist aesthetic. Newer buildings often have pops of bright colour which are very welcome during the cold and dreary days of winter and almost spring.
