After inheriting a friend’s bag of print scraps and facing my own overflowing basket of solid scraps, I combined the two to celebrate our friendship. The background is inspired by a wonderful strip quilt by Karen Duling. Some favorite shapes wanted to join the fun and are hand appliquéd onto the scrappy background. Colorful hand quilting adds to the revelry. This quilt is designed to be two sided, so I hope you have an opportunity to view the party on the back.
