Quilting with rulers is a fundamental skill quilters need when working with a longarm. Join HollyAnne to learn foundational ruler quilting motifs and mix them with some basic free motion quilting. Ruler quilting skills taught will include stitch in the ditch, echo quilting, dot to dot quilting, grids, and ruler-guided switch backs. Students should be comfortable hand guiding the longarm and comfortable quilting a handful of motifs for best results. Longarm machines generously provided by HandiQuilter. Each student works on their own machine in these workshops, no sharing here!
