This class is all about color and the emotions that come from working with it. Students will be creating pieced panels using different Improvisational techniques and then combining those panels to create interesting compositions, exploring shapes and color play. An important part of this process is leaving perfectionism and perfect points at the door and really diving into the beauty of creating interesting shapes and curves! Working with a selection of solid colors, students will be focusing on creating combinations that evoke emotion while experimenting with different piecing and construction techniques. Finishing techniques and facing options for hanging will also be discussed. Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
