Buzzing Geese is a modern interpretation of the iconic traditional flying geese quilt. It varies size and placement of the block units to create movement and give it a fresh, modern look. In addition, varying the color or value of the "geese" creates an illusion of spiral movement. Learn to make accurate flying geese units without special rulers or tools. Experiment with different colors and values to change the look of your quilt. Use large scraps or fat quarters or ombre fabric for an interesting effect. Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
